My Reaction to the Blogging Project

Hello everyone, do you imagine? we are doing the last assignment on our blogs, it is really amazing. Actually, I liked this project because I learnt how to make my blog, to post on it and to improve my writing by looking at others' ways in writing. Moreover, the blog was good opportunity to see different reactions of my classmates and did a comment for them and see others' comments on my blog. However, I didn't like to write the short answer questions on the blog because it was very descriptive which is not related to the free writing on the blog. Finally, I strongly recommend giving marks to the blog project because if there were no marks, nobody would write the assignments and this way make me interested to look at the reactions of my classmates.

Physical Interpersonal Relationships and Social Anxiety
Teenage online players are suffering from a number of serious social problems. The first problem is related to the time that means the players spend most of their time online rather than studying and doing other school activities. The second problem is a violence scenes that lead to a violent destructive behavior such as murder and suicide. Moreover, some players may have antisocial behavior which is tough by online games. For example, stealing virtual treasure owned by other players.

Wired to Another World
Gamer's brains have increased the activity of dopamine because it is responsible for attention and learning skills during gaming. Moreover, dopamine produces pleasure by reinforcing behavior. So dopamine is released when something requires focusing on specific things like games.

My reaction
Anything in our life has advantages and disadvantages like online games. This games have benefits but if people played with it over it would turn to addiction that lead to bad consequences. Moreover, I think parents have crucial role in supervising their children and help them choosing good game. Actually, this topic is very related to my research topic and I already talked about the problems of the Internet and online games is considered as a part of the Internet.However, one of this article explains to me the benefits of online games.

Research Paper and Answering Questions

Writing this research paper helps me in learning many skills. The first thing is paraphrasing which learnt me many vocabularies. Also, I learnt looking for articles and books through Concordia library and I learnt many forms of citation.. It is really good academic experience and I am satisfied about it. However, if I had chance to start over I would read more to write more interesting and useful information.

Research Paper and my Feeling

At the beginning of this course I chose to write about the social effect of the Internet.But, when I started collecting the information, I was confused. However, after that I decided what I want and started writing. Writing research paper in English is not easy task so I had headache many times during writing this paper. Now, I am very happy because I finished it after a big effort from me and enjoyed with the interesting information that was about the problems of the Internet. I hope you will enjoy with this information in my presentation.

Reflection on a Class Divided video

Hello every body
Today we watched an interesting video which showed us an experiment which was done by a teacher that wants to teach her students lesson about discrimination. In this experiment she divided students into two groups according to their eyes color and informed them that student with blue eyes are better and smarter than students who have brown eyes. Then she switched them in the next day. In the lase of experiment all student learnt that you shouldn't judge people according to their skin color but judge them when you know them and how much they are better inside.
Discrimination is present everywhere and whenever in different aspects and the worst one is the ethnic discrimination. Moreover, it make discriminated people feel angry, sad and less confident. Therefore, In Islamic religion all people are equal and it encourages people to avoid discrimination. So the degree in Islam depends on how much the person is pure and good inside.

Reflect on the mid term

In the last mid term, I watched to an interesting video which talked about the paradox of the population. Through this topic I learnt more about the problems of growth as well as a decreasing of the birth rate in some populations. I think, there are not too many things that make me optimistic, but when the video showed us growing the old generation in Japan because an advancing medicine and good education, I considered that a good news. Moreover, decreasing the birth rate in some countries is good to have a chance to make a balance with other countries that have this rate high. But, the bad news are the pollution and consumption of growing population.

Novel Project

Read, read and read that what I had to do at the beginning of this course. It was like a most difficult homework I have to finish. Therefore, I didn't enjoy when I started reading, especially in the first part of the novel because I didn't understand many details. However, when I started to understand more I was enjoyed by reading. Then we wrote a review for this novel which was much easier than reading. Actually, I liked this part because I wrote my opinion and what I learnt from the book. After that we prepared to presentation part. For me it was very interesting to see the reaction of readers about their book and get back ground information about other novels. Moreover, I learnt more from my and others' mistakes with this experience.

Video Summary and Reaction

In this video, Richard St. describes eight secretes of success, after he spent seven years of research and interviewed 500 people. Then, he showed this list through 3 minutes in a perfect presentation. The first secret is passion, he said that people should do their work for love not for money. The second one is work, to be successful , people have to work hard because nothing comes easy. Then he mentioned the role of practice, in order to become good at your work. Moreover, people should focus on themselves to find their career and have to push themselves to work on their interests. Then, we need to feel that our work as serving others something of value to get a taste of your efforts. Another secret that he explained is creating ideas which come from listening, observing, curiosity, solving problems and making connection. Finally, he said that a persist to failure is considered as crucial role to be successful.

For me, I totally agree with him and I think this list collect all secretes of success. but, the most one which I like it is love your work because when you like your work will enjoy it, try to do more, get expert so definitely will success. For example, if you liked your major that study you would try to get highest mark, but if you didn't like it, you wouldn't be care about your grades, just you want to pass. Also, we shouldn't forget to persist our problems that could face us at any time in our lives.

Topic Research Project

I like to do research about the social impact of technology. To learn more about technology and see its effect on families' relations because the technology has become essential in our lives and most people use it in everywhere all the time . Also, I want to learn new vocabulary through this project and I would like to answer these questions
1- How do people connect together through using new technology?
2-What are the benefits of technology in social relations?
3- What are disadvantages of technology in these relations?
4- What are the effects of technology on parents and their children relation?

The Al Faisaliyah Center

The Al-Faisaliyah center is a commercial skyscraper located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It is the second tallest building in Saudi Arabia after the Kingdom Center.This center is about 267 meters high and consist of 44 floors.

The 4 corner beams of it join at the top above a golden ball. Inside this ball is a luxury revolving restaurant. In addition, there is a shopping center, hotel and other restaurants in the first storeys.
